The study carried out by SERGESTUR places us once again, and this is the third year in a row, in the Top Technological Top of the Spanish tourism sector, an honour and a challenge that leads us to continue working hard.
This year it was in the framework of the TIS (Tourism Innovation Summit) where the companies that lead the country in tourism innovation were made public. Seville was the perfect place for Xavier Pallicer, CEO & Founder of GuestPro, to receive this recognition in person.
SERGESTUR has organised a special event at TIS to present this recognition to the companies on its list of the 40 most outstanding technology companies in the tourism sector in Spain. Xavier Pallicer received the recognition in person and was very pleased to be part of this group of companies for the third consecutive year. " Being on this list again shows us that we are on the right track and that our business vision brings innovation to hotel management".
Staying on a list like this, together with other prestigious companies, is undoubtedly a reward for the work carried out over the last year. "The last few years have meant a great qualitative leap for our company, from the Balearic Islands and from Menorca at GuestPro we continue to be committed to innovation and to working hand in hand with our hotel clients", adds Pallicer.
Balearic Islands at the forefront of innovation
Our islands once again stand out and become a benchmark. Of the 40 companies on the list, 10 come from the Balearic Islands. The second most innovative region is Catalonia with 9 companies, followed by Valencia with 5. The Canary Islands and Madrid with 4 close the ranking.
The list is compiled by an entity that does not depend on any institution or company, which gives it total freedom and independence. They have simply taken into account their criteria to highlight those companies that they have considered that currently increase the technological and innovative value of the tourism sector in Spain.
