Our PMS integrates with TicketBAI Software
After several delays due to COVID-19, this invoicing and collection system, which aims to prevent tax fraud, comes into force.
We have been hearing about TicketBAI, the new accounting and fiscal control system that is being implemented in the Basque Country. After many extensions and delays, GuestPro finally has the programme integrated with our PMS and our first Basque clients using it in their hotels.
What is TicketBAI?
TicketBAI (TBAI) is a project shared between the three Provincial Councils (Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa and Álava) and the Basque Government that was born with the aim of establishing a series of legal and technical obligations regarding taxation. This means that as of its entry into force, all individuals and legal entities that carry out an economic activity must use invoicing software that meets the established technical requirements.
Our hotel customers will also have to integrate their accounting systems with the new system. So the GuestPro development team has been working for the last few months to offer this integration to our Basque customers in an easy and simple way.

The new system will allow the regional tax authorities to control the income from taxpayers' economic activities and, in particular, those activities framed within sectors that deliver goods or services to end consumers, such as hotels and tourist establishments in general. The information collected through the system will be used to facilitate taxpayers' compliance with their tax obligations.
