Last May 13th, I had the pleasure to participate as a speaker at the Joomla Day held in Madrid.
It was a sensational event, held at the Google Campus Madrid, which gave us all the impression that, despite the unstoppable advance of WordPress, Joomla developers still have a lot to say, especially in Spain, where WordPress development tends to produce low quality websites.
In my presentation, I wanted to highlight the enormous value for a hotel to have a good booking website, and the excellent opportunities that exist in the market for web developers specialised in Joomla, in the development of quality websites for small and medium hotels.
In fact, the excellent features of the Joomla CMS, and the fact that it is especially suitable for the development of websites in the accommodation sector, were the reasons why we decided to develop our CloudHotelier platform on this great free software project.
