Three intense days of trade fairs that have taken many months of preparation and that have once again exceeded our expectations. Here we tell you all about it.

After more than five months of preparations, FITUR has passed us by in the blink of an eye. For those of you who are less familiar with the workings of the sector's leading trade fair, planning begins long before January: the process of allocating spaces begins as early as May.

This year, moreover, we were moving from Hall 8 to the new Knowledge Pavilion, Hall 12, which meant choosing a new location in an intense and, at times, somewhat stressful process. The positive side is that the effort was rewarded: we got a larger and very well located stand, which allowed us to gain visibility and comfort throughout the fair.

In fact, if you passed by Hall 12, you will surely have seen our GuestPro aerial from different points, accompanying us throughout the days of FITUR.

What's new at the 2026 edition

One of the main novelties at FITUR 2026 was, as we said, the location: for the first time we were in Pavilion 12, a space that concentrated all the technological innovation and travel tech at the fair.

This change had two faces that were much talked about during the fair:

  • Positive: the entire tech ecosystem was together, facilitating conversations and networking with other companies in the sector.
  • Less positive: the pavilion was far from the busiest areas, which meant that many people had to travel to get to us, with queues, rain and a bit more movement than expected.

Even so, Hall 12 gave us an excellent opportunity to be at the epicentre of hotel innovation and to show what we do with a greater presence, and this was noticeable.

Larger stand and greater visibility with Aibo Solutions

This year we went to FITUR together with our partner Aibo Solutions, GuestPro 's distributor in the Canary Islands. Sharing a stand with them allowed us to have a larger space and consolidate our alliance, taking another step forward in our collaboration.

Presentation of the new GuestPro XPerience

FITUR was the perfect setting to present our great new product for 2026: GuestProXPerience, an e-commerce experience for hotels. Developed in collaboration with Rusticae, this solution offers accommodations a way to diversify their offer, sell experiences directly and improve the guest's stay.

We had the opportunity to explain to those who approached us how GuestPro helps to accelerate a hotel, optimising processes, centralising management and boosting sales and experience results.

It was a real luxury to receive the visit of many of our customers at the stand, chat in person, share impressions about their experience with GuestPro and be sure that we have their trust. Occasions like this allow us to be in direct contact with our clients and see how we are transforming their businesses.

We also had very interesting appointments with potential new clients, conversations that we hope will soon turn into new projects and new partnerships.

The Afterwork that relaxes the atmosphere and brings people together

FITUR was not just about meetings and presentations. The afternoons were enlivened with our "Gin & Cheese" afterwork , with Gin Xoriguer and Mahón D.O. cheese to give a unique Menorcan touch to the fair, sharing flavour, chats and unhurried connections.

These informal moments helped a lot to chat with those strolling around the pavilion and to create the perfect atmosphere for spontaneous networking.

Beyond Ifema

Networking at FITUR 2026 was intense and varied and moved beyond the Ifema facilities. Team dinners, meetings and events with partners and industry professionals kept us busy once Hall 12 closed.

For example, we attended the Tech Tourism Cluster partners' dinner"Drinks, travel & tech", always lively and perfect for connecting with professionals from the entire tourism technology chain.

Continuing with networking, we were honoured to welcome a large part of the Rusticae team, a key partner in the development of GuestPro XPerience, to our stand and to attend their Gala Rusticae 2026, an event that reinforced our relationship and the context in which we are launching this new platform.

Teamwork and shared moments

FITUR is always demanding and requires energy, but it is also a time to be together. Not all of us at GuestPro work from the same office, many of us work remotely, so these days were a good time to have a quiet dinner, discuss what we experienced each day at the fair and reinforce the sense of teamwork. It was one of those details that, although simple, makes the experience even better.
