We incorporate new functionalities in our PMS to make our customers more competitive by providing them with the data they need to improve their revenues.
It is well known that information is power; having all the possible data available provides us with knowledge to improve the performance of our business. The importance of data is also key in a hotel's revenue management strategy; having the maximum amount of data available will allow the revenue manager to optimise their work and achieve higher revenues.
This is why we have recently added improvements to the revenue management report in our PMS. The panel now allows you to see the available rooms as well as the occupied rooms. It also allows you to compare with forecast, it is a forecast based on historical data in which we subtract the Last year to date from the Last year and add the BOB (business on the book), so we get the formula: BOB + (LY - LYTD). In addition, the LY and LYTD have been increased up to 5 previous years and the way the data is displayed has been improved to make the report more visual and easier to handle.
In this sense, a lot of daily information has been added which can be easily accessed via the dates. This access opens a modal where the BOB is detailed in Occupancy, RN, Blockages, ADR and revenue each of them compared to Budget, Forecast, LY and LYTD.
Another novelty is found within the same modal in the pickup lines that now have detail so that by clicking on them the pickup is broken down by type of room and channels. We have also taken into account that it is not only interesting to see the pickup but also the BOB by type of rooms and channels, so we have added it below the pickup.

These are the last new features incorporated to our revenue report, but we are aware that not all our clients use our MR report, so we give them all a usability tip, our favourite one: use the mass update from this report by clicking the Mass update button. From this functionality they can change the price, using the modify button that allows them to increase or decrease the price in euros or percentage of the specific dates they prefer.
From our revenue management department we also invite our clients to add their compset to compare in a single screen their BOB with historical and competition, make the right decision and modify prices which will be instantly dumped in all your connected channels.
