We added a new functionality to our PMS to improve internal communication between hotel staff.
GuestPro Messages is the new internal messaging service that allows you to record comments, reminders and complaints for specific dates directly in the PMS. This new functionality was born from listening to our customers, knowing what their businesses need, knowing first-hand the day-to-day life of a hotel and adapting our technology to these needs.
What is the service for?
The new message and complaint service has many useful functionalities for the day-to-day running of the hotel:
- To summarise the day's shift among hotel employees.
- Communicate and summarise staff working days.
- Manage complaints and incidents.
- Improve the internal communication of a hotel.
- Directly follow up on bookings.
- Adding information to the guests' history in terms of complaints and/or comments.
The message service allows you to create general messages, for example, end-of-day messages and also others directly linked to a booking. The latter will always appear within the booking to which it is linked.
On the other hand, the complaints functionality allows you to note a complaint from a client to your booking, this complaint is saved in your history so that it is visible in your CRM file and is saved in your history so that you have a record when you return to your accommodation. Complaints are always linked to the booking.
How does it work?
The new Messages feature appears on our Dashboard:

From here we create the messages to which we can assign the range of dates in which we want the message to be active and also link it to a specific booking. The message will always be displayed on the dates we have selected:

Complaints are managed directly from the booking to which you want to add a guest complaint:

Once the complaint has been created, it is visible in the booking until it is deleted by clicking on the x on the right and it is also saved in the guest's history:

Finally, to access directly to the summary of both messages and complaints, we have enabled a direct access from our PMS Listings.
