Total Revenue Roadshow VOL.1

Total Revenue Mallorca

GuestPro participates in the first meeting of this tour that brings together the best professionals in the sector.

Marketing, revenue and sales; three topics that every hotelier currently has on the table, were the ones that marked the first meeting of the Total Revenue Roadshow organised by the Incubadora Revenue platform.

The Hotel Playa Golf - Palma hosted the first of the 5 meetings that Incubadora Revenue has prepared to get the hotel sector back on track after this time of forced pause. GuestPro has been part of this initiative that is a meeting point for professionals in the tourism sector and that with the arrival of the pandemic has served to strengthen ties, accompany and support all parts of this sector.

Now it is time to meet again and for this reason we have not hesitated to support the Total Revenue Roadshow with our sponsorship. A team of 3 GuestPro staff attended VOL. 1 of this series of events to experience in person this meeting between professionals with time for networking, presentations and debate. Strengthening business ties, meeting new allies or simply meeting up with colleagues was an opportunity we didn't want to miss.

And to learn from experts. It is never too late to grow professionally and that is why it is essential to learn about the latest developments in the sector from leading experts. Incubadora Revenue has chosen three cracks for its first meeting 2021-22:

Chema Herrero, CEO of Bedsrevenue and Founder of Teduka, was very graphic in his presentation: "5 tips for not losing money", i.e. how revenue helps your business not to lose money. Herrero spoke of the good forecasts for the 2022 tourist season and the need to renew, to evolve in order to raise the average price and generate revenue in all departments of the hotel. He also stressed the importance of direct sales, "it's now or never, your website is your heart", of daring with disruptive proposals and of making changes before "having to make changes". Understand that customers evolve, "like Pokemons", and are looking for different things, so not everything goes (ancillary revenue). Apply share of sales, whether our customers are profitable or not, understand how our partners work.

"Will we reach hyper-personalisation?", this is what Toni Balaguer, Marketing Director of MarSenses Hotels & Homes, asked himself. It is important to adapt the product to the person, to the customer, to adopt next-best-action models to increase the propensity to purchase.

The day was closed by Benjamin Devisme, Chief Evangelist Officer Innovation Management Specialist, who spoke about the mobile phone as a platform. Personalisation goes through our mobile phones, which implies a change in the way we sell. We must learn to listen to the customer and not limit ourselves to providing information about them; through their mobile phones we can get to know them better and convince them better in an interactive process. In this line, the technology provided by Chatbots is fundamental, an essential tool that more and more hotels are incorporating into their websites.

The first edition of the Total Revenue Roadshow came to an end with the satisfaction of a job well done. From GuestPro we would like to congratulate the organisers for the success of the event and we hope to see you again on the most lively roadshow in the hotel sector.
