Main advantages of using GuestPro engine if you already have our PMS

GuestPro

For establishments already operating with GuestPro's PMS, the implementation of the native engine represents a change in cost structure and data management, as well as a lever to boost direct sales.

Avoiding external engines means removing unnecessary layers of complexity and helps maximise a hotel's potential.

In this post, we explain why integrating our native engine with our PMS is a smart decision for a hotel's bottom line, based on four main vectors:

1. Higher conversion

In migrations from other engines, the data recorded shows an increase of more than 25% in the volume of direct sales. This performance is supported by the inclusion of tools such as the loyalty club integrated directly into our engine.

2. Benefits of a unified platform

Having the engine integrated into the PMS offers significant operational advantages, improving the ease of booking management and allowing for greater data richness:

  • Native booking engine: the need for an extra layer of configuration is eliminated, the data obtained from the engine is fully reflected in the PMS (discounts, collections, customers, and other metrics that engines do not normally share with the PMS), allowing for a unified data visualisation within the PMS.
  • Unified payment platform: The engine, the PMS and the online check-in (WebDesk) all work with the same payment platform. This means that when a customer makes a reservation in the engine, the PMS already has a tokenised card and allows subsequent operations (both collections and refunds) to be carried out directly from GuestPro.
  • Self-management of the booking in WebDesk: GuestPro engine customers accessing their booking will be able to make date modifications and upgrades easily and completely autonomously. Our room type upgrade functionality in WebDesk, which we launched last year, is having very good results and can be enhanced with automated messages.

3. No transaction fees

GuestPro does not apply additional direct or indirect charges on bank transactions. We integrate with Redsys which is the native platform of the national banking system, the transaction cost is set by the bank but is normally low (around 0.20% or less), similar to the transaction cost in fixed dataphones.

4. Free direct connection to Google Hotel Ads

The native engine includes a direct connection to Google Hotel Ads (GHA), allowing real-time hotel rates and availability to appear directly in Google search results and Google Maps. As this is a native integration, it eliminates intermediary costs or fixed booking fees that are typically charged by external providers to manage this channel. This not only maximises the visibility of the accommodation, but also drives high purchase intent traffic directly to the hotel's engine, driving direct sales at a significantly lower cost of acquisition.

Coming soon

We are taking optimisation to the next level. Soon, upgrade management will not only be available online, but receptionists will be able to offer upgrades directly from the front desk to customers on any channel.
